About
Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at Stockholm University Brain Imaging Centre . In my work I combine behavioral and neuroimaging methods to understand language processing in interpreters and bilinguals.
I obtained my PhD from Stockholm University, where I worked at The Institute for Interpreting and Translation under supervision of Elisabet Tiselius, Birgitta Englund Dimitrova, and Christopher Mellinger. My dissertation focused on how interpreters' professional experience and direction of the interpretation influence interpreters' cognitive load.
Teaching
I have taught at both undergraduate and advanced levels, primarily within interpreter education and translation studies. My teaching experience includes lectures, seminars, supervision, course coordination, and examination. I am comfortable teaching in both classroom and distance learning formats and have created complete course environments in Athena (Stockholm University’s learning management system). I frequently use case-based learning to help students connect theoretical content to real-world interpreting situations and to foster interactional competence.
